Cigar smoke air purifiers are almost a mandatory accessory for any cigar smoker. If you like to smoke cigars and you live in a place that gets cold in the winter smoking indoors is your only option. No one wants to smoke a cigar outside at zero degrees and freeze their hands off.
On the downside, smoking cigars indoors can leave a smell that no one really likes -- especially other people living with you. Fortunately, if you have a cigar smoke air purifier you can completely eliminate any trace of the smell from the room you smoked in.
Cigar smoke is special. Some types of air purfication system simply aren't going to clean it out of the air.
A basic, low-end, air purifier isn't going to work for getting smoke out of the air. Neither will a HEPA air purifier work effectively.
An ionic air purifier is more effective when removing smoke odors. Unfortunately an ionic air purifier is not the ideal cigar smoke air purifier due to several side effects which they have. Because of the way an ionic air purifier works with ionizing the dirt in the air around it the particles in the air will gather on surfaces. You'll have to clean this stuff up.
